I was a little bit reluctant to review these two sites, because they were both originally for the older 18+ teens, but the rules have changed. They are now open to teens 13 and up...
BUT! Be patient, because the earnings are a little bit (actually very much) slow with these two--though they are fun sites to join.
Instant Cash Sweepstakes (ICS)
ICS is one of the simplest sites for teens to make easy money online. At ICS you win tickets, and coins from every survey question that you answer. There are three questions per survey as you can see above so they are pretty simple, and easy to complete. But what do tickets, and coins have to do with anything?
The tickets are basically set up so that you can win the $50 drawing. The more tickets you have, the greater your chances of being picked are.
The coins are just like the ticket drawings except you get to choose how much you want to bet in order to win $2--it is not automatically taken out of your account like the tickets are. You can also keep saving up your coins until you feel like you have enough (usually in the thousands), and then bet the amount that you want or all of it if you feel that lucky.
The Money can be won in two ways:
- Randomly
- Matching Prize
The easiest way to get the money would be the matching prize. As long as your answers match up with the person who referred you, you can earn money from that (though that depends on whether you both took the same surveys). The whole random thing though varies greatly--you never really know when you might win some cash.
There is a limit though to how many surveys you are allowed to complete. After about 5-6 surveys you may get this message:
From then on you are allotted a three hour break to rest yourself, and come back later.
If you feel like you are in need of more tickets you can always go to your profile, and click on the write surveys tab to get 100 more tickets.
ICS is still in beta mode, but it is still a very fun site to join to make just a little bit of money every now in then in your spare time.
Keep in mind that your earnings can expire!
If you are inactive for 30 days or so your earnings can be wiped out (it has happened to me once before; see above).
The minimum payout is $2.00, and via Paypal.
Paid Viewpoint
Paid ViewPoint is slightly more easier than ICS as it only pays in cash (they're both owned by the same company though) so you don't have to get your head wrapped around tickets, and coins. There used to (yes used to--not anymore) be a prediction match available where the money just went straight to your Paypal account, but the service stopped (the predictions were pretty lengthy though. I remember when I had to sit through one that was 15 min+).
The Paid Viewpoint surveys are extremely short. You only get to take traits surveys that takes 1-2 minutes or the most which is 5 minutes. Eventually though (based on your trait score) you will be receiving, biz surveys which pay more. It varies from $0.12 to $3.00 (sometimes more).
Once your trait score reaches 10,000 (trust me it takes a while) you will be placed at the top 10% of PV's members so you will be receiving way more biz surveys (not really, they're just higher paying), and trait surveys to complete. Depending on which country (outside the US or Canada) your in though, you might not see any biz surveys at all (I learned that there have been problems concerning these issues).
But don't get discouraged as referrals may be able to boost your earnings. For every biz
survey reward that they have gotten in total you can get 20% of it. So if your referral has made $15.00 from biz surveys (not trait surveys, but biz surveys) you will get $3.00 from them. But that is only for one person. Imagine if you had 20 referrals who have made $15 from biz surveys, then your earnings would be $60. When you reach 100 or more referrals (by then you'd be making $300) you have the option to become a VIP community builder, and cash out way quicker--so you don't have to wait until your referrals cash out to get your money.
I am not going to lie, and say that you'll make money quickly from this site as you get paid about $0.10 per trait survey--Surveys that ask you about yourself. This was also one of the reasons as to why I was reluctant to review this site as the process is slow, and tedious. I think it took me about six months to reach the $15 minimum as I got $0.10 per day (one survey almost every single day). When I got to the top 10% part it took about 1-2 months to reach the payout--except I didn't complete surveys everyday, I completed them every other week; the biz surveys paid a lot from then on.
The Payout is $15.00 and via Paypal. It usually states that you will get your money within 72 hours, but you'll actually get it the next day.
