STP allows its users to make money by rating and reviewing music. Yes, it is as simple as that. Just listen to a track for about 90 seconds, review and rate. The amount varies from $0.02 to $0.20 per reviewed track. Doing this for about an hour or two a day or for 4 times in a week will allow you to reach the minimum payout.

Giving songs a 10 rating most of the time will give you a high payout, but you must also give it a very good review and in detail in order to achieve that high payout (I'm talking about 6 - 12 lines of writing). All in all, just give your honest opinion when rating songs, because it'll haunt your conscience if you gave a horrid song a great review and it ended up playing on the radio.


The minimum payout is $10.00 and via paypal. It is wise to use your PayPal email to sign up for the site since that is what they use to send you your payment.

Why did I give this site a 3.5 rating? Good, but not good enough...

They payment rate is way low. $0.05-0.06 is the average rate for songs (and most are way too crappy--so you are rating songs while you are in torture in effort to make some money and find that hidden gem). If your review is that good you might get $0.08-$0.20 per review. Overall Slice the Pie is good, but not good enough.
